Mini Get-together

We had a fruitful discussion in our mini-get-together of owners last Sat, Nov, 12, 2011.

Before the meeting, some of the owners already summarized all the problems and issues that we know here in our condo but to my surprise there are still more that I am not aware of.  One particular problem that gets my attention is the case of a new owner from tower 2. She already moved-in but after  days or weeks already, she still has no electricity in her unit.  I will give more details as soon as she gives me a copy of her letter of complaint to Empire East.   Another one is the shooting incident that happened a few days ago.  Somebody fired a gone near the playground and was witnessed by a unit owner staying at the 2nd floor of tower 2.  There was no casualty because it was fired in the air.

The group agreed to sign a  position letter (I'm not sure what I am gonna call it :-))  enumerating all the problems and issues in our community  particularly the issues on safety.  The group also agreed to hold the payment of association dues if Empire East Land Holdings continues to ignore our concerns.

Here are some of the pictures during the mini-get together.

Mr Lao holds a mini art exhibit to draw the attention of tenants and unit owners
Taken before the meeting started, the number tripled later that afternoon

and yes there are lots of food, one reason why I stayed most of the time near the counter :-)

Jean facilitated the meeting, thanks Jean

And a surprise visitor who joined us later that afternoon

  1. Hi, thanks for setting up this blog. I have the same complaints and have spoken to a customer relations officer earlier yesterday. I'm not sure what good it would do.

I've been  wanting to discuss the state of Xavier Hills with other home owners, but it's a little difficult I'm not based in the Philippines. I'm flying off in a few hours, but I hope that this blog can be one of the venues for owners to meet, discuss, and update each other.

Will follow this blog closely and actively participate virtually, or personally whenever possible.

  2. Hi, I see that several unit owners has been trying to sell their condo unit at Xavier Hills. I saw it at almost every property selling/renting websites and even on FB group page.

I was curious as to why the owners are selling the property at such a tempting price. That's why I started researching about the property and the developer and I reached to your blog. Since your blog has been 5 years now, I wonder if purchasing the unit from current owners is a good idea. Can I ask for your advise on whether I should proceed to purchase the unit or what you can suggest?
